Actress Roseanne Barr has issued several explanations for the cancelation of her namesake series reboot, but her latest is perhaps the most interesting yet.
During a recent interview with the “Sunday Times Magazine” in Britain, Barr asserted that her actual termination was at the request of former FLOTUS Michelle Obama.
Barr asserts that after she regrettably made her ill-fated tweet about former Obama official Valerie Jarrett, that the former first lady then contacted Channing Dungey. Dungey was at the time president of ABC Entertainment Group, and Barr alleges that Obama asked Dungey to move forward with the firing.
“That’s what I was told and I tend to believe it because the woman who fired me is now working with the Obamas at Netflix,” Barr stated.
Aside from Michelle Obama, Barr still maintains that she was also targeted for being Jewish.
“They wanted to take a Jew down,” she told the Times. “They wanted to take down a Zionist because they think that Zionists are the problem with everything in the world, and a lot of people in this country think like them.”
