Not that the government shutdown has ended, President Trump is slated to give the State of the Union address in the House Chamber.
As part of the process, Democrats will then issue a reply to the opposing party.
But in a laughable choice, Chuck Schumer delivered the news that Democrats have decided Stacey Abrams should be the one to deliver the response.
“I’m very excited she has agreed to be the responder,” Schumer told reporters.
Abrams is the failed candidate who ran for Georgia’s mayoral office. She was beaten by Republican Brian Kemp.
How do Democrats expect this to be effective? Is her defeat somehow supposed to make her more appealing?
