Overwhelmed City Declares State Of Emergency

A city is now under a state of emergency in response to the flood of illegal immigrants the federal government has been forced to release from overcrowded detention centers.

Mayor Doug Nicholls of Yuma, Arizona is crying out that his city can’t sustain the additional strain of so many migrants.

“Migrants being released into the community faster than they are departing, and shelters and the staff to run them are at max capacity. A state of emergency is declared.” The City of Yuma Twitter quoted Nicholls as saying.

This makes Yuma the first U.S. city to declare a state of emergency in response to a population swollen with border crossers.

Nicholls is hoping that the declaration will prompt the government to provide him with additional support and aid to battle the issue. He also encourages other cities that come under strain to do the same, so that the scope of the problem becomes impossible to ignore.

This is just one more ominous warning that the border crisis is spiraling out of control and into the United States.
