President Trump has come up with a new nickname for one of his opponents and now MAD Magazine is jumping in on the fun.
During an interview with Politico, President Trump bestowed a new name to South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
‘Alfred E. Neuman cannot become president of the United States,’ Trump stated referencing the moronic cartoon mascot of MAD Magazine.
When confronted about the jab, Buttigieg proved himself quite the square admitting that he had to Google the reference.
That statement caught the attention of MAD Magazine which has been in publication since 1952 and is well known for its satirical comedy. They quickly fired back at the Democrat.
“Who’s Pete Buttigieg? Must be a generational thing,” the publication tweeted from their account.
However the real dig came when MAD changed its description to read, “Historic comedy institution with Mayor Pete on the cover.”
It’s not surprise that the humor magazine joined with President Trump to get the last laugh.
