Victim Praises Trump: ‘He Was Just So Comforting’

After a gunman opened fire at the Chabad of Poway synagogue in San Diego, President Trump was immediately consoling victims of the attack.

Trump contacted Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein following the attack that killed one person and left three others injured, including Goldstein who lost a finger after being shot in the hand.

Goldstein gave thanks to the president for taking the time to check on his well-being and said that “he was just so comforting that I’m really grateful to our president for taking the time and making that effort to share with us his comfort and consolation.”

Goldstein gave a statement that can be seen in the video posted to Twitter.
